A weird acting bat was found on a school bus near Drumheller. A number of students were treated as a preventive measure for Rabies as the virus untreated can be fatal. Bats are in our area, as I caught a bat in our greenhouse and fired it out last summer. As a rule, if the animals are acting normal, there is no reason to worry. As for the treatment for rabies, oh those poor kids, they are going to be sore for awhile.
Our next club meeting is on the 27th of May, same time and same place. Lots to discuss about National Range Day on June 6. Should be quite an affair. More details coming later.
Range set up for the Archery range this coming Sunday, May 24. The high school archery club will be there to check it all out. Archer types, now would be a good time for input on how you would want the 3-D range set up for this summer. See you all there—Joe
