OUR GUN & ARCHERY RANGE will be open to the public for viewing and demonstrations on June 6, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 pm. There will be public participation with some firearms and archery. MEMBERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO USE THEIR FIREARMS ON THE RANGE FOR THAT DAY ONLY. Come out and visit with the group, help out a bit and grab a hot dog. June 6 is national range day and we were asked to participate as it helps to present a strong front to the government in Ottawa. This is also a good way to show off our great range.
The new backstops for the 100 yard archery range are in place and were broken in last Sunday by the Barrhead high School archery club. Good to see them out there. ALSO, the 3-D targets were placed out and the guys had to clear close to 20 fallen trees across the trails, thanks to the big winds we’ve been getting. Thanks to Nathan and the help from the Kodiak Lake store for doing all this.
