For most hunters heading off into the bush to park on a cutline, please make sure your winch is up to date. It is so easy to get stuck out there. I know of one group that has to wait for over a week for the ground to freeze so they could drive out. But, that’s hunting.
I saw a nice young cow moose last week that was in great shape. The whitetail feeding on the field peas with the geese, are looking vey nice and should winter well.
Please remember the first meeting of the season September 30. Lots to talk over and plan.
