OCTOBER 2ND, 2 PM IS THE START OF GUNRANGE UPGRADE. Your club has a few upgrades to do in order to pass our five year inspection by the Chief Firearms Office for Alberta. We will be putting up a small wall at the 300 yard rifle bench and some wood cladding on the reactive rifle culvert. A backhoe is coming for some berm improvement and also some backstop work. The 3-D archery targets will also be coming out later toward evening. The new signs will be going up in a week or so.
From the Firearms Office report, SUMMARY: The Barrhead Fish & Game Association Range is a well maintained facility that requires only minor updates in order to maintain operating approvals. Good to hear.
