You never know just what you may bump into when out in the Canadian wilderness. A husband and wife were e-biking near Creston B.C. and were attacked by 2 young grizzly bears. The woman chased off the bears with bear spray but not before her husband was badly mauled. Predators such as grizzly bears, black bears cougars and wolves are being seen more often in farming communities as the animals seem to be following their food sources, such as deer and elk. Cougars are now moved as far east as Saskatchewan. Be aware out there. Recently the world record wolf was taken near Rocky Mountain House. 230 pounds. Previous record 170 Pounds.
The gun range is in good shape. We are still waiting for the required minor changes we have to make to the range after our certification inspection.
