The project is focused on large carnivore landscape movement and population delineation across western Canada. They are asking hunters, trappers and wildlife professionals to collect tissue samples from harvested COUGARS, BLACK BEARS and WOLVES. It’s easy to do. All you have to do is collect a small piece of hide or flesh of your cougar, black bear or wolf and put it in the sampling kit along with a note on basic loction of the harvest.They will provide the harvest kit and shipping materials.
