It looks like spring has finally arrived as the signs are there. Some critter has ripped apart our garden compost box, and there a lot of geese around looking for open water. ARCHERS, you will just have to wait a little longer for that part of the range to open as we are waiting for the snow to go away.
For those members that tried to get compensated for their so called restricted long guns, be aware that some problems have arisen. Here in Alberta, I saw a notice posted by the authorities, to put your rifles in your gun cabinet and keep them there. They will NOT accept them. I also read that some people in other parts of the country that turned in their rifles are still waiting for compensation. They may be waiting for quite awhile. Be aware.
