CFO Range approval positive

Your range has been approved by the ALBERTA CHIEF FIREARMS OFFICE for operation for the next five years when we will then be due for another inspection. It was a long process to comply with the new rules that are now in effect. When you go the range now, you will notice most of the changes are in the number of new rule signs at each affected station or shooting site. PLEASE obey them. Your security system was enhanced and please be aware that there are more cameras out there now. Not to much has changed in the way the range will be operated, but the signs and the safety barriers are for YOUR safety. One item that was well received were the range rules you receive with a key purchase. Please read them, if you have an incident on the range and it was covered in the range rules, the onus is on you, NOT your club.
