Time to go fishing

For those of you that would like to go fishing without a license, here’s your chance this weekend , July 12 & 13. The fishing regulations will still apply. Your next chance will be in mid February. Time to enjoy a government freebee. At the moment, seniors in Alberta, do not need a fishing license, but that may soon change. A study concluded that seniors that fish (a good healthy sport) are out on the lakes, more than the average public. The study said it would help to know the numbers of seniors out there and just where they go. Oh yes, before the screaming starts, the cost would be minimal.

The moose stock in this part of the province seem to be ample and in good shape according to some of the locals I spoke to. Elk seem to be on the increase in some of the local areas where they haven’t been seen before. Time to come out to the range and sharpen your skills. Archery practice seems to be on the uptake. SIGN IN AT THE GATE. Very important. Good luck on the draws—-Joe
