We’ve arrived with a new format to keep you in the loop of what’s happening in your club. Our inspection of the range went very well. There are going to be some changes to the site which well have to be followed as they are going to be put in for your safety. Minor changes, just be aware.
Speaking of changes, there are a number of changes to the WILDLIFE ACT & WILDLIFE REGULATION. There are 38 of them, which cover Ammunition and weaponry, registration, restricted areas, tagging, vehicle use and more which came into effect May 21 , this year. Be sure to take a close look at your new hunting and trapping regulations. The one I like is that you now can shoot DOUBLE CRESTED CORMORANTS, DURING DUCK SEASON or anytime on private land. Also the regulations for serving legally acquired wild game at our functions is now allowed. So hunters, this fall, save some meat for our wild game supper.
